It’s day 30 of the 30 day post challenge. What a relief. It’s over!!!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad that I participated in NaBloPoMo 2015. It forced me to be a bit more disciplined with a writing routine, I realized that WordPress is a better place than facebook for showing off my cat photos, and the feedback from other bloggers has been great. But seriously, logging in here every single day (okay, I missed three days) is waaay too much for me. And I say this as someone who is working part-time at the moment. I cannot even imagine completing this challenge while still employed at my previous full-time job.
I’ll be taking a WordPress break. I’m not sure how long it will be – maybe a week or two. I have several ideas for longer posts, both here and on my other blog, that will take some time to flesh out. I’ll probably keep posting the micro story challenges since those are fun and don’t take too much of my time. I’m hoping to catch my cat in the bathtub again so I can post a funny photo. As for drawing, I’m tempted to give that up. It’s frustrating. But maybe I won’t, who knows.
To both my old and new followers, thanks for reading my blog this month. I hope you enjoyed it.
Who else did NaBloPoMo 2015? How did it go for you?
